Absolute Marketing Group won 19 total awards at the 2009 ADDY awards Friday, February 26th. The four-year-old firm walked away with 7 gold awards, 11 silver awards and a Judge’s Choice Award. The number of gold awards and total awards was the second most awarded to a company in the competition.

About the ADDYs

The ADDY Awards are a national competition put on by the American Advertising Federation. Awards are given based on creative merit. Categories range from traditional advertising media such as newspaper and television to online and non-traditional marketing. This three-tiered competition features a local, district and national competition. All gold award winners automatically advance to the next level.

ADDYs Go Statewide

The 2010 ADDY awards featured entries from the entire state of North Dakota. In previous years the eastern and western parts of the state held separate local competitions. This year the Advertising Federation of Fargo-Moorhead expanded to become the American Advertising Federation of North Dakota. The statewide competition resulted in a record number of entries. Approximately 500 entries competed at the local level.
