Objective – Supplement the current campaign and introduce HTML email marketing to the current mailing list subscribers.
Obstacle – Combining a new design theme, a new medium and a kickoff to the season in one email in addition to a special offer and static newsletter information creates a lot of information that needs to condensed and assembled in a legible way.
Solution - Through careful design and template development, Absolute was able to create an award-winning HTML email that was eye-catching and informative. This email reached over 5000 fans and helped keep the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks the best place for entertainment as voted by city.

Objective – Integrate an email marketing campaign to be followed up with a direct mail piece utilizing evolving brand standards.
Obstacle – Though owners of a successful restaurant (Santa Lucia), creating a retention program for a new establishment without customers and a limited grand opening budget can be a bit of a challenge.
Solution – Absolute merged several different media to create and build an email list. The majority of items from point of purchase display to baking instructions all encouraged membership to the EClub. EClub cards encouraging signup were even placed in the guest checks at the sister restaurant. For signing up, EClub members received a coupon for a free large pizza in the mail. Obstacle – By happenstance, Absolute Marketing Group is very male dominated. Though a female handled the technical aspects of the email campaign, the design and writing of the email and all printed materials in the campaign were assigned to a long married designer and a bachelor copywriter. At first glance, the obstacle is obvious.

Rather than trying to channel our feminine side or guess what women on their way to the altar would like to hear, we dug deeper to understand the individual who will be viewing the email and print campaign. By focusing on the underlying emotions and needs involved during the course of a wedding instead of the aesthetics of a dress, we could transcend gender barriers and empathize with the person our message spoke to.
