Pins fell. Snow didn’t.

Absolute threw a wrench in the traditional office party, treating all the employees to an evening on the lanes. Sure, there were laughs during the ridiculous and random white elephant gift exchange. And yes, there were some adult beverages served. But the real magic of the evening happened on the lanes.

Most companies look forward to door prizes. At Absolute, the coveted prize is the respect you earn from your colleagues. How do you earn that respect? It’s not high-caliber client work – we all have a hand in that.  Respect is won through friendly competition like our annual Chili Cook-off,  reward day dodgeball or in this case, bowling.

Four teams, chosen at random, pounded their chests, grabbed their balls and hit the lanes with one thought in mind: win.

Team 1 – “Mac Users”  Mac Berns, Matt Anderson and Cas Johnson
Team 2 – “Partner Fury”  Brian Meckler, Mark Huesman and Luke Petterson
Team 3 – “Two Dudes and Tutus” Scott Tostenrud, Grant Christian and Shar Berns (Mac’s wife)
Team 4 – “Value Added” – Becky Resler, Tanya Weets, Mark Hennek (Client Relations Intern) and Andrew Johnson (Cas’ husband)

Winner: Mac Users
High Score: Mac Berns

That’s how we do it.

Keep an eye out for more photos of this and our other team festivities on our social media pages in the coming weeks.

It was a great event and we look forward to more cred-earning opportunities in the coming months. 🙂
